I got by Grannacus on the second try. But this last Spartacus battle is a real pain. I have to take less than 120 casualties and have a nice mix of skirmishers and HI to take down. I've tried using elephants to soften up the front lines, archers to decimate the advancing troops, cavalry to flank, et...

Historical setup?
Not sure if this has been answered yet...
Will we be able to play the battles as historical scenarios or only with the armies we bring to the field? As nice as it sounds to bring my own elephants to Zama to crush Hannibal, I'd also like the option to face the same situation that Scipio did.

Great news. Now I have something to spend my Age of Empires 3 money on. Don't know about your country but here in Spain, AOE III is gonna cost nearly 50 ?‚¬, this nearly doubles Legion Arena. I can buy one game more... 8) AoE3 will retail for about ten more bucks than the pre-order on L:A. The demo...

You can do both. ;) I wasn't too excited about yet another Civ either, so I was surprised that Civ 4 is both something old and something new. I do think it's time for Firaxis to stop pillaging the past and to move on, but after all the fun I had with Pirates, I can't moan too loudly. Still, for a tr...

I wish I could share your optimism about Civ4. :( I've seen it and played it for a preview I wrote for CGM. I can't say much until it's published (and even then there might be some embargo issues) but I can tell you that I was very, very happy with it. Oh man, I can't believe it! IT is that Troy! H...
