I found a work around by accident. It seems the Back to Space Center button has a sensitivity to where you click on it. Dead center (like most of us like to click) and it drops you back to the Main Menu. For some reason, I tried clicking on the top right corner of the Back to Space Center button ...

R-7 / Pioneer Game Freeze

Similar to the other reported R-7 issues. Selected R-7 as launch vehicle for Pioneer Lunar Flyby. Selected follow from MC. Game freezes.
