OK. OK. I give in. Reactions have been pretty positive about this and, although I'm fairly certain this won't be an accurate representation of stategic and operational Napoleonic warfare, it seems like it has a pretty good feel about it from what I'm reading. It has also been accurately pointed out ...

After reading initial impressions of this I'm even more convinced that I won't be buying it ever. Especially after seeing one particular screenshot. Not that it's a bad game, on the contrary, a lot of people seem to like it; but it's not what I'm looking for. You can dress the troops in bright colou...

I never played CEAW, and have to admit that I was never really tempted to. I never played Panzer General either because I didn't like the idea of no stacking. Extremely disappointing

I've just read something that has put an enormous dent in my hopes for this game. Apparently only one unit is allowed in a hex, and there's no stacking allowed. I totally fail to see how this system will adequately portray the large Napoleonic battles of the period. I'm stunned. I have to admit that...

Oh, for the love of God!!! I'm very anxiously waiting for this game and I check the forum every day to see if there are any updates. I keep seeing updates, check them out in anticipation, only to find your 'lost little boy' posts. What exactly is so complicated? There's a link at the top of the site...

Another batch of beta testing this weekend. That seems to imply that we're looking at at least another month before release, or a few weeks at the least :(

Behind the 8-ball :?:

See if you can find the 1971 movie 'Waterloo' Rod Steiger plays Napoleon superbly and it's an excellent film about that famous battle.

Glad to hear that this may be released soon. I only found out about this game a few days ago and from what I've seen so far it looks like exactly the kind of game I've been waiting for for 20 years :)
