Ah. My mistake ... Turns out it was just early signs of failing RAM. Lots of errors in memtest this morning. That'll teach me to buy the cheap stuff.

Well, it looks like a RAM problem. When I take one module out the problem goes away - and comes back when I put it back. Is there a reason the game might not like dual channel? Memtest says all clear and I'm not having trouble elsewhere. I don't really want to have to do this every time I play this ...

[Solved] Graphical artifacts making game unplayable

I'm getting large spikey artifacts during the pre-battle intro and in battle but not in deployment or in camp. During battle they seem to occur wherever there is action going on, gradually growing to obscure the entire scene. Continues after restarting computer and beginning a new campaign. Any sugg...
