I dragged the mounted file to the Applications folder. Closed the dmg and tried to run BotB only to be hit with a "can’t be opened because it is from an unidentified developer." Error. (I tried running with the dmg open, too. And running from the dmg.)
Any ideas around this?
Thanks,
Steve

Re: Battle of the Bulge Version 2.0 - Now Live!
I found a rules bug that I'd like to report, but I can't find the report button like the old version used to have. How do I report a bug now? FWIW, a breakthrough tank attack didn't use the breakthrough, so in the subsequent phase move it was allowed to move as if it wasn't activated. Also. If one w...

Re: Gamecenter not sending turns
The problem I'm having with GC is not finding out my opponent had moved until I leave the game. I'll stare at the board, puzzling out my next move in anticipation of theirs, when I finally give up and move back to email or safari, and as I do, I see the red badge notifying me of my awaited turn. Not...

End of Day Quibble
I'm pretty sure it's just me, but when my opponent ends the day, and I get my next turn, the display of what my opponent did proceeds very fast. I have to hit the replay just to see what happened.
Is there any way to slow it down?
Thanks,
Steve

Re: Crash bug / before soviet phase
I've found in several scenarios vs. Axis it falls into someking of "thinking" endless loop and crashes. It happens too fast to submit a bug report. When I attempt to send feedback, the games crashes closed. I was able to beat the crash and submit once, but Shenandoah responded with "w...

Playing on?
I like the new option to play on after a game completed through points. However, if the tide turns and the the defeated ends up as victor, is it the final score that is recorded, or the first?

Thanks for the consideration, Eric.
I can test more than one game at a time, even if Mark tries to threaten you.
If you change your mind, you know where to find me.
Sincerely,
Steve

Re: Gettysburg: The Tide Turns playtesting - Apply Here!
I'd like to volunteer for play testing. I'm currently working on the El Al play test. I feel kind of bad volunteering for this one, too, since I'm sure others should be considered before me. If you'll have me, I'm game. I do live just south of Baltimore, so I consider that nearby Philly. I find myse...

nkarp, Thank you, thank you, thank you. I have to admit, since the imbalance has been discovered, the enjoyment I have of your otherwise fine product has waned dramatically. I am almost relieved to get it over with when playing as allied and I'll almost toy with the allied opponent as I know that I'...

Re: Play balance
An example that I use for the perceived unbalance: I was able to win as Axis with only Bastogne and St. Vith. And the Allied player was very good. No mistakes that I perceived. In my opinion, it was just unbalanced play.

Re: Play balance
Oh, no. I'm convinced the game is broken. I have good result as Allies only against an inexperienced Axis or extremely good luck. And if luck is the game, then the Axis turtles. At that point, I have to go back to luck and hope I can reduced the Axis points by more per day than he gets by turtling. ...

Re: Battle of the Bulge Version 1.1 Submitted
I think the AI got worse. There were a couple of instances where I had the AI cut off and it moved from a supplied position to an unsupplied one for reasons unknown. Moreover, I've submitted a bug report since the move was from a contested space (the space I owned that cutoff AI units), through the ...

Re: Bug or valid move?
Thanks, I submitted a tap-tap-tapnhold bug report. Later in the same game, the infantry and 9 Pz attacked Manhay, then the next day did the same thing, 9 Pz left for Stourmont. Another boneheaded AI move. I didn't submit a bug for that one, since they are no-doubt related. I suspect a fix to 1.1 is ...
