Well, for instance the battle of Hastings was small yes, only 7,000 per side. But there were other battles throughout europe and the middle east. The battle of Manzikert had about 30,00 per side. The screenshots look good, and with the LGS taking care of the multiplayer balance this really could turn out to be an amazing game.
