Bayou Wars XVII is hosting the final Field of Glory tournament of the 2008-2009
Gulf South Championship at the Radisson Hotel, 2150 Veterans Blvd, Kenner, LA
70062. This location is the hotel we used last year. It is not the old Quality
Inn in Metairie that previously hosted Bayou Wars.

No, make that a minority of 2. I was the person who objected to the interpretation of the rule. In my mind, it really boils down to which rule takes precedence. See my comments below, but please understand that I don't have the rules in front of me at the moment so I am going on memory.

The following are the results of the first Bayou Wars FoG tournament. We played 4 rounds, and although this diverse field had a tough time getting results in Round One (only 3 of 11 first round games had a victory result gaining the additional 5 points), by the end of Round ...

We thought about pairing vis-a-vis books, but I wanted to see if the open results would dispel the idea that some armies are favored.

In the future, some Gulf South events could well be themed or certain books.
