Scenario 41-45 ending earlier than expected.

While playing the 1941-45 scenario the game stops after turn 24 and awards victory to computer. Should go to OCT 45 but stops at same point as Barbarossa scenario. Takes months to get here and then stops with no way I can find to continue. Is this a defect?
