In my experience, you are correct. The wording of the rule needs to be updated.HobbesACW wrote:Maybe 3 'NOT adjacent to any other enemy unit which is also adjacent to the target' should read 'NOT adjacent to any other enemy unit'?

Re: My Review of the Various Specializations
Hmm, the AI does look forward beyond it's turn to examine the possible repercussions, so it sounds like this may be a balance issue. If you could send me a couple of good savegames from which I can easily reproduce this exploit, I can have a look to see if the AI can be tweaked to behave a little b...

New Caledonia-Japan (Strange Mission message)
New Caledonia campaign as Japan, game patched to 1.67: Probably about half-way through the scenario, a message pops up showing Japanese bombers floating in the sea, and something about a failed mission involving Japanese bombers. The problem is that I never got any Bombers, so it seems pretty strang...

Re: Midway Japan
@Kull, The secret of naval warfare is how you fan out your ships for coverage and covering each other. Also subs hunting is my favorite part of the game, it gets fun once you develop a way to catch them. Generally i keep 3 pace btw my DD and my first DD screen is 3 pace ahead of my CA and BB. I do ...

Re: Midway Japan
I think there are 3 subs. Two in the south and one in the north. I also did not get the second objective with all carriers sunk when there are only 3 carriers in Midway. Last campaign with Japan (which hopefully will be debugged with the patch) i let one carrier escape in Coral Sea, because destroy...

Re: "UNDO" button, too softcore ?
It might be "convenient", but it's really just a soft sort of cheating. There is no "undo button" in warfare. You make some sort of oops mistake, well, welcome to battle. That said, perhaps the Devs could look at inserting one but requiring the player to select an option which en...

Message Grammar in Java Scenario (Land)
To avoid too much "spoilering", I'll just note that there's a message which includes this sentence:

Re: "UNDO" button, too softcore ?
There was a bit of discussion about undo very early in the beta testing. But we quickly learned to play without and the issue was never raised again. As others have mentioned, the auto-save always allows you to replay the turn and if you want you can save during a turn. But when the iPad version is...

Re: Coral Sea - Japanese TF never moves or fights
Checked the scenario in the editor. These ships are initially not assigned to an AI-team. They may be assigned and AI-team in a later turn by trigger/event, Lukas surely have the answer to that one. I noticed the same thing in the boot-camp Fleet Command scenario where several ships are idle the fi...
