Took me all of about 10 minutes to work to see a good deal of SMAC revitalized for a long awaited time, i love turn based 4x space games of all ilk...

Had the same happen a few hours ago. The animation repeats on each turn but all visible units on entire map disappear but it does look like everything is still running as normal, strangely enough if you save the game and reload it fixes the issue.
