Were you thinking of an early or later Teutonic army Meliadus? I'm working towards an early Baltic one and am banking on it won't be much different than a Later Crusader list. I'll play them as Later Crusaders until Eternal Empire comes out and hopefully the 'early' options (if any) of that army lis...

I was scratching my head when I got an e-mail stating Legions had shipped since my Swords and Scimitars was still two weeks overdue. I thought somebody might have gotten the titles mixed up when picking the order but two days later another e-mail came stating SaS had also shipped. Got Legions today ...

Thanx for all the input. This will give me a good base to work from. One question though: Wouldn't this time period be a little early for mounted crossbows? I thought these type of units didn't show up till later.

Planning For a Teutonic Knight Army

Based on army lists from other rule sets I'm trying to make an educated guess on what possible unit types there...

Mirliton is looking the better bet to me now. Those infantry packs will do nicely. There's also a Teutonic foot command pack and some dimounted knights that will add a little variety to the mix. Much obliged for all the help guys.

Mirliton was the company I did choose for the horse elements of my army. Awesome models. I didn't realize they had weapon options for the IC infantry so now they'd be a good choice as well. I was also looking at some Black Hat spearman and am wondering how they stack-up size-wise to Mirliton figs?

Feudal Spear/Crossbowmen

I'm in the planning stages to build a 15mm early Teutonic Knight army. I pretty much have all the mounted models pegged down but am still sourcing miniatures to use for spear and crossbowmen. I've looked at Essex and will cherry-pick a few from there. Can anybody suggest another manufacturer that ma...

Any idea whether the book will be out early, mid or late next year? Or is it still up in the air at this point?
