Re: Server issues

Stopped working again. Can we get a response from Slitherine please? This is very frustrating and you don't seem to be doing anything about it

BA for mac, very dark buildings

I downloaded the BA demo for the Mac and I'm running it on my Macbook Air. The screen is very dark, buildings especially are pretty much black. Is this how it's supposed to look?

Newish player looking for a game

I've had two multiplayer games so far, against Nakedcelt and davouthojo, both of whom I can recommend as polite but challenging players if you fancy a game. Now I'm looking for a new game, the only expansion I have so far is IF but happy to play at up to 600 points against anything. Feel free to sta...

No they are very old figures with infantry based in strips of 6. Possibly Irregular Minis. I do keep looking at the Baccus stuff though every time I go to a show :-)

Yes I think the advantage of needing less space is probably a good reason to stick with 15mm. Looking at the way the strips are I can only get 2 x 6 man strips on a 40mmx15mm HF base, so there are big gaps at the side, but it looks ok. I have enough legionaries for about 60 bgs and enough Gallic war...

6mm with FoG

Anybody using 6mm figures with FoG? I have a lot of old 6mm Romans and Gauls, currently painted but unbased, which come in strips of 6 figures (possibly Irregular Miniatures?) I was wondering whether it would be better to base them on the 15mm standard of 40mm width, or use the 25mm standard of 60mm...

Wargamers in Lincoln, England

I met Hammy yesterday at the Triples in Sheffield and he convinced me that Fields of Glory were worth getting so now I guess I need some opponents! I am an experienced wargamer who has been out of the hobby for a while bit itching to put my figures to some use. Are there any gamers in the Lincoln ar...
