Re: FOGAM3
Great to hear that development has started - are you still looking for playtesters?
I was involved in the playtests for v1 and v2, it would be nice to make the full set!

Re: FOGAM at PAW 2015 - Plymouth, UK
Actually, Martyn, I was thinking about someone from the Warhammer 40K competition when I mentioned the feeless list. As I said in the original post, the FOG tournaments are fine, and the umpire is always pleased to have lists earlier rather than later, otherwise he has a huge pile of them to check a...

Re: FOGAM at PAW 2015 - Plymouth, UK
Greetings: Just a quick heads up to say that the entry deadline for all the Tournaments at PAW 2015 has been extended to January 18th, 2015 Whilst the FOG tournaments are fine, some of the others are a bit shy on people who have actually sent in an entry fee. Lots of people have expressed interest i...

No change since August - which means that since a paper Version 2 is available for Christmas, then version 2 it is.

Re: PAW 2013
At the time of writing, we have THREE names for this competition (and NO cheques) The PAW committee have declared that if there aren't at least six names by the end of the year (and preferably by the end of November) that they will cancel it. So, please, if you are interested in this competition, co...

Re: FOG at PAW2013
Just a confirmation that the PAW 2013 FoG Ancients competition is in 25mm, using version 2 of the rules Details are here: http://www.paw2013.co.uk/index.php/competitions/7-field-of-glory-ancients.html There will be no 15mm Ancients competition in 2013, but there will be a 15mm Napoleonic competition...

Re: V2 for the Kindle Fire
I posted a query to the Abannan website, and got this reply on 15OCT2012: To answer your question, up until recently we didn’t feel there was a strong enough reason to develop our product for the Andriod platform as we were targeting business users. We now have a need to expand into the Andriod mark...

Re: MF Bow was: Medieval
The truth of the matter is, despite the dropping of the impact shooting POA-, basic unprotected MF archers - as featured in so many of the Softer than Beagles armies - are still pretty poor for the points cost. Any advantage that they may have from this change is more than offset by the changes to p...

Re: PAW 2013
@David53: thanks for opening this thread - I was so focused on the usual Ancients competition that I've only just thought of it. @AndyClaxton: nice to know you are happy to come and see us, Andy! We have confirmed the 15mm Napoleonic competition, although we haven't finalised all the details, yet. F...

Re: FOG at PAW2013
I intend to participate in the 25mm FOG am again next year, but only if its v.1. I have no technology capable of processing the v2 as published and even if I did I think its well out of order not offerring the product in hard copy so would be reluctant to pander to it in my own very minor way and t...

Re: FOG at PAW2013
Greetings: PAW have decided that we will definitely run the FOGAM 25mm competition, using version 1 if there is no printed version 2 available by Christmas, version 2 otherwise. Feedback about the 15mm competition has been quite low. We have actually had more requests to run FOGN than anything else!...

Re: The Future is coming!!! FOG v2
I like the idea of a digital edition - I work in IT for God's sake! But I can't afford a tablet of any shape, size or description to run it on - I work in IT in the SouthWest of England , where the wages are up to 30% less than they are in the M4 corridor for the same job So unless there is a printe...

Re: Version 2 Poll, Version 2, Version 2.
Iain: I take it the piracy issue is the reason why the simple and cheap option of a PDF version has not been chosen, despite the wide range of operating systems that support it? (And before anyone chimes in to say that PDFs can be password protected, even the newest versions of PDF passwords/encrypt...
