Re: Badcon 2026, Burton 21st and 22nd Feb

Query on Early Zhou list (july 2023 version)
I'd like to check whether the numbers of daggeraxes and supporting archers in the Book 1 Early Zhou list are correct. The total bases are 12-64. Within this there is an 'any date' option of 0-27, and an 'only from 700' option with 0-27 armoured bases and 0-7 protected bases. Thus the maximum bases o...

Re: V3.1 and Bw*
I saw on p74 what you describe. However on p68 it says: impact dice 1 dice per bow/CB 2nd/3rd rank, but 'Light foot or light horse and medium foot shooting from a supporting rank with Bow*' lose 1 dice per 2. which seems contradictory.

So if no one moves, do the cavalry still do a 180 turn (or turn to where-ever they're evading to) as part of the evade?

Interesting match up between two different armies and a great game by the look of it. I feel suitably inspired to try a solo game myself!

Yep thanks all for a great weekend, to the players for some great games (even those that ended in tragedy for my Gauls) and to Pete for organising.
Cheers

Re: Britcon 2019 Game 1 vs Classical Indians
Thanks for the write up Pete - it was a harsh introduction to the Indians and elephants in general for me! I surely lamented not taking the elephants in 3s, as at multiple points over the weekend elephant BGs went *pop* as if they were balloons thanks to my propensity for rolling 1s on the death rol...

Re: BHGS Challenge @ UKGE 1/2 June 2019
Thanks for posting this David - I think I peaked too early with my Southern Dynasties hordes, but had five very enjoyable games where I learnt a few things, some of which may stick!
