Re: Panzer Corps 2 vs Panzer Corps 1
Panzer Corps definitely feels more like Panzer General.
Panzer Corps 2 feels more like Panzer General 2.
Personally, I am totally on board with this.

Re: How similar to Panzer General 2 is this?
Panzer Corps 2 AI no longer has that issue with artillery.
It can move them, load them into transport, and even tries to maintain proper distance from targets now. Meaning a 4 range gun doesn't want to move into point blank range when set to 'attacker' mode. It's quite nice to see the AI make ...

Re: Losing the entire game due to missing by one or two turns is garbage.
My 2 pfennigs on this: using "defeat the enemy in X turns" as the measure of victory always struck me as lazy game-design. It makes it, rather than being a game in which winning means defeating the enemy , a game where enemy units are just so many speed-bumps or hurdles that you have to clear ...

Re: How similar to Panzer General 2 is this?
to get a feeling of the game, watch some youtube walkthroughs - theEdmon, Green Knight to name a few good players
PC2 brought some unique mechanics such as trapping your enemy in "pockets".
There are some big scenarios - France, Kiev, Rostov... not the whole Western Front at once, but still ...

How similar to Panzer General 2 is this?
Speaking as someone who loved Panzer General 1 but ended up being fairly disappointed by Panzer General 2 (poor AI, narrower scope of battles), I want to know to what degree PzC2 is like PzG2 before buying it.
I assume that PzC2 doesn't repeat the kind of mistakes SSI made with PzG2's AI (i.e., the ...

Re: Better Italians in PzC2?
I never even looked at the numbers in such detail, I am probably not experienced enough to take full advantage of the Italian troops in PzC. But overall, I do hope to see Italy as an interesting Ally in PzC2, rather than just useless auxiliaries.
To make full use of them they would have to be a ...

Re: OOB Expansions I don't want to see
There are a lot of nice ideas in there, no doubt.
FWIW I'd like to return myself to the Asia/Pacific theatre at some point, but I guess not this year.
None of that is set in stone yet though, so there's plenty of options still open :)

So, was this ever finished?
Alternatively Korea is like a no-brainer for the next DLC.

Re: Really liked the reconnaissance system of People’s general
People's general is maybe the only PG I did not play but after reading this thread I want to go back see how that game's recon works. Reading some of the other comment on the forum, it seems like a lot of people would like to see a concept like this added.
My favourite game from the later ...

Re: Better Italians in PzC2?
I think there should definitely more scope for Axis minor core units in the German campaign - you should have at least ~3 Italian/Hungarian/Romanian units in your core if you're fighting either the British in North Africa or the Soviets. These should be part of a separate core-limit so you have to ...

Pure pedantry of me I know, but "The Germans launch Operation Battleaxe" is wrong - Operation Battleaxe was a British offensive.

Yeah, the bubble canopy on the Spit is all wrong. The frame is far too prominent.

Yeah, I have really limited time to work on modding so what time I do have I'm spending on the HOI4 mod. Definitely more than happy for someone else to work on this.

Re: Cp really underpowered
That's because you look at this from the a pro perspective to any average gamer who is new this game looks completely broken. This is why it's Dieing out as a game central powers is really annoying to learn.
"Pro perspective" here meaning exploiting the hell out of game mechanics and fighting ...

Re: What would you like next DLC campaign you'd find coming?
I'd love to see a British North African campaign. Beyond that I think the Korean war would be a good subject for a mini-campaign - a battle-list might be something like the following:
- Osan
- Pusan Perimeter
- Inchon landings
- Pyongyang
- Pursuit to the Chinese border
- Chosin Reservoir Retreat ...

How does this work for the National Assault Force? It's an old volkssturm unit,I didn't make it but I can't remember who did
That's really good artwork. I'll definitely use it!

If you want to add my graphics for Mexican guerrillas (basically just riflemen in Sombreros) let me know and I'll post it here.
Out of interest - is there a picture of the 7.5cm FK 16 nA in direct-fire mode without a gun crew? I'm afraid the ones with the crew make the gun look too small, and I ...
