Re: Campaigns for Modern Conflicts
My campaign "Wars in the Shadows" is available for download. It’s played from the German side, is fictional, and consists of 10 missions.

Haha… that’s an image from my Nexus campaign! Which program did you use to animate it?

Re: Campaigns for Modern Conflicts
Well, it works — I inserted a GIF from the Pak Mod into a briefing of one of Nico’s campaigns.

Re: Campaigns for Modern Conflicts
I can’t answer that question at the moment, since I haven’t dealt with GIFs in the game yet. It would be a small innovation if short clips were shown in the briefing instead of static images.
As far as I know, there are also GIF files included in the Pak Mod.

Re: Campaigns for Modern Conflicts
Honestly, I can’t quite follow you. Am I supposed to model an AN-2 now or watch a movie? I really need to find a better translation program — or you should stop giving me so many riddles in foreign languages. I need to understand the connection between the AN-2, a movie on Netflix, and the GIFs from...

I remember that too, even though it’s been a long time. I think the lips and eyes were moving. Those GIFs are probably in the UI folder of the Pacific Mod.

Re: Campaigns for Modern Conflicts
Here’s a version from me. Please don’t forget that I’m not an expert or specialist in unit modding. Some units take me a whole day or even two to make, and the result still isn’t perfect.
May I ask what you’re planning to do with it?

Re: Campaigns for Modern Conflicts
Hello everyone! As announced, my Germany campaign will soon be available. It replaces the originally planned Poland campaign, which I won't be able to finish until the new year. The Germany campaign is entirely fictional and begins in 1997. It comprises the first ten missions of what was originally ...

Re: Campaigns for Modern Conflicts
Change of plans: Since I currently have little time and am otherwise occupied, I've decided to postpone the Poland campaign until next year. However, I'm considering releasing my Germany campaign instead, at least the first ten missions. There's still some work to be done, such as writing briefings...

Re: Scenario Package for Akkulas Modern Conflicts
Why do we need 10 maps when it's one island ) Special ops before the invasion, naval operations, air defenses missions, company-scaled scenarios, etc... a lot can be done  Some missions about Taiwan were also considered here ; but I admit I was more thinking about a single big scenario about i...

Re: Scenario Package for Akkulas Modern Conflicts
This could be developed into a mini-campaign, or even a larger one with 10 missions, etc. I actually wanted to leave that up to the author himself, as I thought Modern Conflicts would be continued, but the project has come to an end.

Re: Scenario Package for Akkulas Modern Conflicts 1.95
From today’s perspective, it’s an entirely unthinkable scenario — China in open conflict with Russia, fighting for control of Vladivostok in 2027. Militarily and economically, such a clash would be extremely unlikely and immensely risky — but I thought, why not? In 2010, no one thought seriously th...

Re: Scenario Package for Akkulas Modern Conflicts
Hello, yes — I originally created this scenario with 40 turns and then thought, why not, and increased it to 45. That gives the player a chance to let their units rest and refit. I’m planning, though not until next year, a mini-campaign on the theme of Vladivostok, but set during World War II and as...

Re: Scenario Package for Akkulas Modern Conflicts
The player faces part of the Russian Pacific Fleet, which must be eliminated at all costs. Chinese ground forces have practically broken through and are advancing southward to capture the towns along the coast. The player has 12 air and 12 sea transport units to move their forces by air or sea to th...

Re: Scenario Package for Akkulas Modern Conflicts 1.95
Hello, I just realized it’s been quite a while since I last introduced a standalone scenario. Here is "Dusk of Vladivostok." CVR.png From today’s perspective, it’s an entirely unthinkable scenario — China in open conflict with Russia, fighting for control of Vladivostok in 2027. Militarily...

Re: Modern Conflicts : World War III campaigns
That was just a joke, Imeror. I know I'm German, and Germans don't have fun.   But it's no problem for me to create the portraits myself. If you're looking for a free AI that can generate images, give it a try. I can't judge how good they are, though, since I only use the paid versio...

Re: Modern Conflicts : World War III campaigns
In Germany, I wasn't aware that images of Serbs were banned. Nazi symbols or the swastika were, however. But thanks for the link. I sometimes use the images as templates for modified hero portraits, but most of the time I input the description from my own thoughts into the AI so my mind doesn't fa...

Hi Tomas45 I’ve been following this thread for a while, and I get the impression that you expect a lot of things to be explained in a very short time. Please remember that this is a gaming community, not a personal support service. Most people here are players, and only a few are modders who learned...

Re: Modern Conflicts : World War III campaigns
So no Serbian portraits for Tobi. Oh well, I'll just have to live with that. About the prestige again. Sometimes I use triggers on missions where I think more is needed. So if a player conquers the first primary objective, they get +7 more prestige points each round via the trigger, +5 again u...
