Well, it works — I inserted a GIF from the Pak Mod into a briefing of one of Nico’s campaigns.

I can’t answer that question at the moment, since I haven’t dealt with GIFs in the game yet. It would be a small innovation if short clips were shown in the briefing instead of static images.

As far as I know, there are also GIF files included in the Pak Mod.
