They created a custom EXE for me to try to see if it resolved the issue and it did. I am told it will be in a future patch?

I installed .net 8.0 and still have no music and sound in game. There are still some launching issues.

Ticket has been open since 1:30pm so I am not sure how seriously they are taking this.

And for other players out there following this, I informed the developer and Slitherine of these issues at 1:30pm EST. I got a response back from the developer to open a ticket, but have heard nothing so far.

I am not the only one having problems with the UI either. I suspect most of the positive reviews on steam are misleading: Are reviewers getting the same version of the game that the players are getting? They may be reviewing an earlier build, but the release version seems to be broken right now.

I would love to play it, but the game has no sound or music. All music and sound work in my other FoG games just before I tried kingdoms. Reinstalled the game 3 times and and verified game 3 times. Tried the other FoG games again. Perfect sound and music. Kingdoms? No sound or music. Major problem.
