Oops! just found the bit in the rules - +4 per BG.

What does the +4 mean next to the points per base for the Swedish Brigades?

Does it mean that you add 4 points per base, or is it 4 points per Brigade or what?

Otherwise the whole thing looks pretty impressive! Already looked (and cringed) at my old metal and making mental lists of what I need to ...

I'm doing a Tuareg army as well. One point to remember is that Camels disrupt horses - any horses not just the enemy's. So if you have your own Cavelry anywhere near your Camel they will also go down a level in combat.

I'm not going for the Cav at all

I'm thinking of using a pike based army for the next year or so (got lots of nice figures to paint). Looking at the forums there seems to be a feeling that Swiss are a bit limited - what to folks think about Later Low Countries as an aslternative that is a bit more flexible?

Having succumbed to Mike from Museum's blandishments 2 years ago at Claymore and bought enough of his very nice Camel Lancers for a DBMM army, I have once again gone to the Museum well for enough more to field a veritable horde of Taureg!

Why are there no naval/ water based elements available.

I only ask because my wonderful medieval ships are now doomed to lie in their boxes........

Also, if naval/water doesn't play any part, why is "coast" a terrain choice?

Played my first game today. Thoroughly enjoyed myself. 100YW English (me) vs Medieval French.

I found the rules very easy to understand - no dubiety (a change after dbm!)

the game was fun to play had a good bit of action, sufficient amount of nail biting to keep the mind sharp.
