1) I don't understand how 'prevent any trucks from leaving the map' can be interpreted as 'kill trucks'. The counter counts the number of trucks that have exited, thus it only needs to count to 1 before the objective fails. That's the thing, it doesn't say "prevent any truck S ", it says ...

There's no button to cycle through unmoved units on iPad. You have to manually look around to find units you might have missed. Not a big thing, but it is a difference.

First thing I would say, is have you tried playing as the Entente? If you think the game is unbalanced, then swapping to the side you consider to be more powerful should be your first step. If you also lose while as Entente, then it won't be the game, it'll be you, but that's not a bad thing as then...

Turn 34, playing as Entente. Tried to complete this turn six times now, including letting it run for a solid 90 minutes and still no joy.

I'm in the Hong Kong region, so the store updated here a little earlier thanks to the magic of timezones. The app is $20, and according the usage tab in the Settings app takes up only 389 MB. It's a damn fine port, and is running very well on my original iPad Mini. Bought it 7 minutes after midnight...
