If cumulative stoas unbalance the game there is a solution : agrement for a maximum of ONE stoa per greek faction, it's more logical with the whole rules of bonuses

Losing a great general in a very minor battle with major army against a very minor one isn't very realistic , and it happens too often in my personnal point of view.

Because FoG Empires with FOG II is in my opinion the best gmae i've ever played, for many reasons (and i've played MANY wargames), I'm little sad about no others DLCs for it ! Medieval FOG is very good two, but the "chess equilibrium" attained by the first with antique "nations",...

Glad to read that a new DLC will arrive in some time. The actual 550 then 310 BC scenarios are really good...Suspens beetween old empires period and late Roman Empire I suppose...

I don't understand CDR for Seleukos, i'm on turn 4, the HCV ratio is 665/239 (ratio 2,78...very positive) and becomes 61/78 in the middle of the screen and i've already 2 bad tokens in turn four, but with ALL citizen in culture. Not funny for the Seleucids and hard to explain for me. Isnt'it a bug ?...

yes becoming an empire is not surely a good thing because of civil wars, and the fact of a primary hasardous emperor is not a good thing to help to decide this ! (it may always be a VERY GOOD one because he just replaces a glorious republic ; a "primus inter pares" like Augustus). 2 tries ...

yes I understand, this game is a marvelous one yet, and I understand the balance between "grognard point of view" of old wargamers (like me,-) and the necessity to have an attractive and no so complicated game. But I think beginners don't want to have pretty armies to be overkilled too rap...
