okay, i tried to not start launcher first, but start ctgw_steam_d3d directly. Got following error : openal32.dll is missing
so found in some baldurs gate forum a link to install missing dll.
did that.
For now it seems to be working fine, hope it will stay this which upcomming (if any) newer patch.

it was installed in v:\steam\...
it is now installed in d:\steamlibrary\...

it was never on C:\Program Files (x86)\....


snd it isnt working, as before.

1.6, the log is from older version, but the time isnt right too, its an old log entry, they are no newer entrys, as there should be some.

i have the same problem, i have taken close look to the My Documents\My Games\Commander The Great War\ctgw.log File. But, as far as i can see, there is no new entry. I reinstalled game, just dont starts, i deleted config, tested different configs, e.g. windowed. nothing changed. Ah yes, i had a down...
