This is turning into a Monty Python Sketch.
It has been what, 3 /4 years now?
I can attend university to learn coding and develop the game faster than this.

Re: Still coming ?
Development has restarted on Chariots now, but most of the team will remain focused on Stargate for the foreseeable future, so it will be a while before we have anything new to say or show. I don't see the point in announcing development of a game and then not developing it. "Hey, guys we have...

Re: B. Hastings & Pushbacks
I just happened to have been doing quite an exhaustive reading of primary sources for Hastings and I'm afraid this is not quite the picture I'm forming. https://www.militaryhistorywithfog.com/hastings-1066-ad What's more interesting is that I have not seen an interpretation or read one that portray...

Re: B. Hastings & Pushbacks
Thanks for your feedback.... a follow up. This is what happens.... The Norman mounted units charge head-on to your men. They cause massive damage and then fall back. Eventually, your units become weakened by this and they break. They then turn and the other units flank and rolls up your wall. This ...

Re: B. Hastings & Pushbacks
According to the sources, the Archers in the battle were mostly ineffective against the shield wall. That sort of played out in my battle. It also stated that the mounted troops were not of high quality. However, in the battle, they seem way stronger than they were historical. In the actual battle,...

Re: Why a Forum?
I've added this game on my wish list over 8 months ago. It seems the announcement was a bit premature.

Re: 18th Century mod - Frederick the Great's battles
Yes, the Prussian unit that attacked the village did so against the orders of the King. The AI is interpreting the lack of forces and the objective as a means to move troops to counter the main assault. The right did not do this. This isn't actually the battle of the Soor, just a confusing custom ba...

Re: 18th Century mod - Frederick the Great's battles
It is impossible for the Prussians to occupy Burkersdorf. If you try, you will be pincer by the Austrians who would otherwise be occupied by a Prussian front. It is actually suicidal to attempt to take the city. As you can see below. https://i.postimg.cc/2548pwHW/Austrian-moving-from-left-flank-to-c...

Re: 18th Century mod - Frederick the Great's battles
There is something off about the Battle of Soor https://www.britishbattles.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/8-schlacht-von-soor-1200-AAA.jpg The Austrian forces that are on the Austrian right flank moved to the left flank when they should be preoccupied with the Prussians in front of them. The Prussia...

B. Hastings & Pushbacks
Hey, I recently purchased the game. I am playing the battle of Hastings on the Knight level. It is my understanding that the Knight level is the standard level (historically accurate). The more difficult levels change the strength of the AI. According to the sources, the Archers in the battle were m...
