Crashes on ipad2 ?

Hi,
I've downloaded conquest today to my ipad2
I've played twice for a total of a couple of hours, each time it has crashed.
It crashes during the AI making its move.
Annoyingly you loose all progress from the large strategic map as well as the progress from an individual battle.
Is there a fix?
