Guys I'm losing track here, are we talking about creating scens and campaigns purely for our own singleplayer fun?
At the moment there's no way we'll be able to put them up for download by the PC2 community here at Slith or at Steam is there, or am I missing something?

Okay, I see.
My fault to purchase the game via Steam in the first place.

So to sum this up:
Every outside scenario/campaign (custom - other than the stock stuff) I want to see/play in the basic PC2 game has to have
it's data stored in the folder "campaign" for campaigns and "scenario" for ...

Just to inform you, I changed the name of this thread, so I don't have to open another one.
I want to share some things of the developmental process of my own campaign in this thread so others don't have to
endure some of the flaws and mistakes.

for bringing almost total carification to some of the mysteries regarding all those different data store locations.

The "bracket thing" was just a total situational misunderstanding on my part.

At this time the AfrikaCorps was intended to use an imported core. There is no preset Core units at this time when starting AfrikaCorps if you have none to import from earlier campaigns. At the very least you should play the Preludes campaign to use as a core. Using all the prestige given to buy ...

All I can say is, I started this campaign with my imported chor units and had not problems at all.
Maybe it is just not designed for playing with a green army.

\Documents\My Games\Panzer Corps 2\Campaigns\[BigRedOne]; don't use brackets.

CampaignPath set by LUA code inside each each campaign folder, File name : script.lua
You can copy the form and function from any working one in your possession.

So I created the folder "mods" in doucuments/My Games/Panzer Corps2/mods.
Added the preview image file (960 x 960 px) as well as the scenrio folder (named the same way as the campaign "DAK - Deutsches Afrika Korps ...

Work on my own DAK campaign has officially started NOW!
Now we're are talking.

Call off the guards - I just found it.
I just downloaded/enabled another custom made campaign ("the big red one" by Davidson) via Steam workshop and tried to track down where it went.
And HOOPLA! right where the GC went beforehand.
So no "mods" folder but a "workshop" folder instead. :?

I can't find anything labelled 'Grand Campaign' but for the record these are the battles currently on my hard drive-

Well, I have them too, these are the official DLC's.
Even if you haven't bought them, they are still there via game ...

After quite some digging I finally found the stock scenarios.
At least I can take a closer look at them now trying to figure things out.

But still no idea where the mod scenarios from the Grand Campaign can be found.
Since they feature some intruiging ...

So again to that "data issue".
Rick and others told me that one can open (and therefore edit) any given scenario from the stock ones to the modded ones via the editor, right?
Well, I start the game, select the scenario editor and then go to File/Open...

The data path is: own Documents/my Games ...

So, I tried again and documented it.
If anyone here has started this campaign and played it through, please post a screenshot.
I just want to get a glimpse at your glory.

Either I am a much (and I mean MUCH) worse player than I thought I was and obviously worse than most of the people in this forum ...
