Most of the paints I use, are bought from the local craft stores. I usually wait until they go on sell, which seems to be about every week, cant beat $1 or less for a 2 ox bottle of paint. That said I still have alot of Valejo and Reaper paints too for my WWII armies.

I got some of their Gauls the other day and was pleasantly surprised. As soon as I finish up my Romans, I will start working on the Gauls to add to my Carthagenians. They remind me alot of my old Minifigs. Once I get them painted I will see if they mix okay.

To be honest they'd probably handle Pavis OK - you may need to think about whether some MF firearms were needed, possibly with a 4 MU range by then for fire arms as well.
