An AT unit with the same envelopment/overwhelming attack combo + hit & run. Throw in a Stug or 2 with Shock Tactics and a few more recon cars and infantry blobs disappear faster than you can say "where'd that blob go?"

I usually do myself, but find the double auto-surrender recon great for clearing infantry blobs, especially if you run it around with an auto-surrender armored anti-tank .

You didn't ask specifically about recon cars, but a recon car with:
1. No Retaliation
2. Envelopment
3. Overwhelming Attack
4. Double Attack
...is a brutally efficient contraption! Flexible Command trait for split and more Prestige @ capture.
