It shouldn't matter what kind of attack it is. In my opinion this would benefit the AI more than the human player, I've seen it rolling it's artillery and infantry mounted in their trucks next to my tanks.

But I'm perfectly happy with the current system too.

Yes for dismount after first attack, because there's already units that can act during opponents turn, like artillery.

I've had no problems with the current system. I always cover my mounted infantry/artillery with tanks or SP artillery. When I move my "divisions" the recon(s) go first for a peek and then fall back a bit, then the tanks/SP AT on open country, then after them the mounted infantry/artillery and SP ...

I noticed something similar in the first Sevastopol mission (the one after which you get to choose whether to assault or siege), 3 planes appeared from the SE corner of the map.

I had to wait for about 5 minutes after payment until I got the page with download link and key.

Tanks shouldn't get close defense bonus from heroes ie. cities should always be death traps for tanks.
