Re: My Main Complaint
It looks like a badly missed opportunity indeed, because marines should not be thrown away (they are supposed to be difficult to recruit and train after all!), and it makes your actions carry much less weight (and growing attached to your roster has always been part of the appeal). Even something as...

speaking of the HYW, and hussites, I also look forward to being able to deploy "barricades" .

Re: So when do we get to hear that Field of Glory Empires Medieval is in the works?
Base Empires covered all Europe and the western part of India, with all armies lists available within this geographical area even if you did not had any FOG II DLCs. So if you were working on an hypothetical FoG:Kingdom game, it could cover parts not included in the base FoG2: Medieval game? Sounds...

Re: What armies/units are you looking forward to in future DLCs?
I would love sieges, but they may be hard to represent well. However, they formed a major part of medieval warfare, and they could make for cool mini campaigns (or parts of a campaign), with defenders sallying out, or besiegers trying to fend off reinforcements. Regarding armies, I too would love t...

I forgot to add Titans!
With Epic Armageddon dead, this is the only chance to have both infantry and titans fighting together on the battlefield (Armageddon doesn't count, because it is more abstract).

AM starting units
AM starting forces are abysmal, which snowballs into a mediocre early game, and a difficult mid game. Of course, in FFA, it doesn't change that much, as the AI won't prioritize AM forces given that it has a low chance of bumping into them. However, it doesn't change the fact that AM struggles early ...

Re: More meaty DLC please!
five brand new units for $4,99, this is just the beginning! Priced right? I bought, but it tastes no good. Maybe my last Gladius purshase before some years and then a big sale on the remaining. I more or less agree: No hard feeling about it, but it doesn't feel like a great bargain, when it comes t...

AI units are too easy to lure away
I like the changes to the AI, but it still seems bad at priorizing targets: I had 2 squads of Tac Marines recaping its resource nodes, while the bulk of my army was leveling its base, and it sent 90% of its force following my 2 Tac Marines trekking around the map. The Tac Marines didn't make it, but...

Re: Imperial Bastions - unit does not seem cost effective.
Actually, I would rather have them protect infantry units (like Starcrafts's Bunkers) than have their own automated defense system.
They would remedy one of the AM problems (the brittleness of its infantry).

Re: Some ideas for Astra Militarum
Turns 30-40 are not early game. AM are worthless for the first 10 turns, because their starting units are badly underpowered. They cannot handle anything until they have a commissar out, while SM or necrons can clear some neutral with their starting barrack units (+ 1 or two reinforcement). This res...

Re: Warhammer 40,000: Gladius gets its first DLC: the Reinforcement Pack!
That is awesome! 3 of these units are ones I would have picked if given the choice (and the fourth is because I have no idea how necrons work at all in the TT and the lore). I really look forward to it, but it is surprising not to have a price so close to the release date. It might be a bit too late...

Wishlist for Sanctus Reach 2
As the last of the DLC has sailed (or not?), I was thinking about what I would really love to see in SR2: No more settings limitation, so that we can have factions that are more relevant/varied. A clear campaign army roster. The random list really detracts from the attachment to your company, and th...

Re: Dreadnoughts need more armor
In fact, the problem does not come from the dreadnought, but in my opinion, from how TT infantry's armour saves and vehicle's armouring are retranscribed in the game under one unique value (the armour) This means that infantry with good armour save (like SM 3+) can't have a low armour value in the ...

How come vehicle armors are so low compared to Space Marines armor then?IainMcNeil wrote: ↑Thu Jul 26, 2018 10:55 am The armour comes from the codex apparently unless someone got it wrong.
Which codex is it from?
Their durability is much higher in Sanctus Reach.

Re: Aggressors - Units infographics part II
I don't think Centurion is fitting for an unit type, and they should certainly not be upgraded to officer. Even through it is not Field of Glory, having a more historical unit name, or at least green/regular/elite units (or early, middle, late, if it is based on technology) instead would be more fit...

Re: War Gear/Additional Infantry build diversity
Actually, I think it works be a great suggestion, and could add much needed variety to infantry if we were able to select load out (Heavy bolters or heavy melta, power swords or power fists for veteran assault marines)...
But it would only be reasonable if these work with the current animations.

Re: Bug? Weapon dmg is being capped to a unit's individual soldier hp BEFORE mitigation is being applied
Actually, I think this has undesirable side effects:
Armor and penetration are much more important than every other stats, especially given the fact that infantry armor and vehicle armor work the same way and have roughly the same values
