Re: Game Scale
Thanks! Actually I think it's better for naval engagements, so that's what I focus on... but using BB range & movement as the benchmark for calibrating the rest is a great idea.

Game Scale
In the editor, what is the approximate scale of the game hexes, and how long is each turn supposed to be? I'm working on a series of WW2 sea battles, but can't seen to get realistic results.

Re: Tank Efficiency
Thanks - I get that - but there are several times when I've left tanks (and other units) stationary behind the lines and their efficiency doesn't seem to change at all. I wondered if terrain had any effect... maybe they can't recover in harsher areas?

Tank Efficiency
Is there a discussion somewhere about how the "efficiency" mechanic works, especially for armor and artillery? Do tanks have to be stationary, out of combat, and not in contact with the enemy in order to recover, or do they have to be in a city?

Re: Advanced manual?
Does anything explain the mechanics of the 'wolfpack' bonus (ie, how close they have to be to get it?) Or how to recover unit readiness once out of combat? It almost seems random how long they have to be out of combat, and whether they have to stay stationary or not.

Re: Yamato '43
I know it's a waste of resources in comparison to a cruiser, but the Yamato class are irresistibly beautiful.

Yamato '43
Am I missing it? What's the difference between the different version of the BB Yamato? I can't see anything to justify an upgrade cost, either in-game or in the unit comparison web site.

Re: Advanced manual?
That seems consistent with how they indicate flight time for aircraft, but I sometimes see it with units behind enemy lines as well. I take it there's nothing but the intro-level book it comes with?

Advanced manual?
Is there some sort of readme manual (or sticky) that covers the game mechanics in more detail? For example, what is the green number on the right of the "strength" value for some infantry unit icons?
