Ambushes and Rugged Defences need to be much more brutal for the unit caught in them.

Its a shame the Soviet Amphibious Invasion of the Kerch peninsula isn't involved with this one. Would make for a very refreshing scenario.

To unlock the three bonus difficulties, you need to win DV on USA West Coast on FM. To unlock it quickly, just use the cheat codes.

There are many posts that list what the bonus difficulties do, but for the record:

Rommel = -50% prestige.
Guderian = -5 turns for scenarios.
Manstein = +5 strength ...

First initial impression is that Germans should have a default 2 star experiance level while the Russians have 1 star for this time period. Would help to balance the start also.
