I think I'll stick with things as they are thanks.

I can play the game now with speech and sound effects, and that's good enough.

If I'm feeling brave enough I may try and convert the music files to WAV files in the future.

More good news.

I renamed _Voice and _Music as suggested (and _Audio back to just Audio), and when I played the game I had movement and combat sound effects. I then renamed _Voice back to just Voice, and re-loaded and I had the general's speech at the beginning of the scenario as well as movement ...

I tried it with just _Video (and Audio without the preceding _) and it wouldn't load i.e. I clicked play once but nothing happened at all (no introductory video etc).

If it's a problem with the sound side of things, is it worth my downloading the sound player used by Panzer Corps in case mine is ...

Great news! The game now loads to the main menu and I can play it! The only problem is I don't have any sound either at the main menu screen or during the game.

Any ideas?

Just to confirm too that I only have clicked "Play" once (not twice) and the intro video still has the white border at the tope of the screen and won't load properly.

What is happening is as follows:

I double-click the shortcut icon on the desktop and then the PanzerCorps menu appears as normal. I click "Play" and the intro video appears. BUT it appears with a white border across the top, is slightly juddery and the sound keeps breaking up. Once the intro video ...

None I'm afraid. The video starts but with the white line at the top and juddery etc.

It's strange as when I went into the Video folder and ran the video by iteself it played in the RealMedia player and ran fine (without the white border and judderyness etc). It just doesn't want to run properly ...

Yes, once I'd changed the name to _Video I double-clicked on the Panzer Corps icon on my desktop. It brought up the sytandard menu (Play, Support etc). I double-clicked on Play but nothing happened.
