Is it possible to rename your units?
It would be a lot more immersive that the generic 'Corps', 'Garrison' and so on...

I uninstalled, reinstalled, applied patch 1.02 and then 1.03 and now it seems to be working.
The old Reinstall to the rescue...!

I get this error message when I try to run the game:
"Error:Could not find the language files".
This happened after installing the latest 1.03 beta patch, worked fine before.

Just bought the game today (downloaded from Slitherine) and ran it a few times without problems before applying the 1.03 ...
