Questions before buying
Hello, I'm interested in the game and am currently leaning toward buying the complete package. Two aspects are currently holding me back. I would be grateful if someone could tell me something about them. First, there's the issue of core troops and heroes. Is it true that they can't die permanently ...

Re: Patch 1.05.06.01 breaks game (Script Error)
Thank you for your quick reply and help. I haven't installed any mods. The problem was indeed that I've downloaded the main game some time ago and therefore the installer wasn't up to date. I didn't think that would be a problem since the patch installed without any problems. But after re-installing...

Patch 1.05.06.01 breaks game (Script Error)
Hello, I've just bought Field of Glory 2 Medieval with the first three DLC. I can install everything fine and the game runs after initial install. However, once I've patched it to the newest version, I always get a Script Error at start and the game won't launch. I've re-installed twice already and ...

Re: My specs - is it enough
I'm also considering to buy PC2 but not sure how it would perform on my PC. My specs are: core i5 @ 3.5 GHz, 16 GB RAM and GeForce GTX 960 with GB video memory. I've read that even people with very good systems are experiencing framerate issues. So it would be nice if anyone could give me some idea ...

Re: Order of Battle: World War II v5.2.0 update
I'm trying to update my game using the update function in the start panel for some days now. For some reason it won't work. Has this something to do with the upgrade to x64? You need to go through the steps described in the OP of this thread: http://www.slitherine.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=264&...

Re: Historical Flag and Insignia Mod 1.20A
Does anyone know if Soviet Corps includes campaign maps between the scenarios (like PC, AK and AC)? If this is the case those maps also have to be updated I guess?

moving to a new pc: recommended installation order
I have to move my Panzer Corps including all addons (Afrika Korps, Allied Corps and Complete Grand Campaign) to a new PC. Since there were patches in between addon releases etc. I was just wondering what is the recommended installation order for a fresh install? 1. Panzer Corps 2. Grand Campaign (al...

Re: Complete System crash every 2-3 turns
That's amazing news! I'm really looking forward to this option since it surely will add to the overall stability and flow of animations etc. May I ask if there's already a planned release date for it?

Re: Complete System crash every 2-3 turns
Thanks for the reply. Aside from these bugs the game seems to be really really good, so I'm really hoping to be able playing it in the near future. Since quite a few people with good rigs/system specs noticed a considerably frame rate slowdown during AI turns it might be a very good idea to be able ...

Re: Complete System crash every 2-3 turns
The window mode doesn't help either. Will there be another patch in the near future to address the performance/stability problems?

Re: Complete System crash every 2-3 turns
Thank you all for your replies. Ressources (especially RAM) shouldn't be a problem at all. I don't load a lot of stuff with system start and there's about 5-6 GB of free physical RAM available before starting the game and 1 GB of video RAM. And while I know that my i3 2100 @ 3,1 GHz certainly is no ...

Re: Complete System crash every 2-3 turns
In addition to my previous post I just noticed the following which might help to isolate the problem/bug: It seems that the game no longer crashed when I turn the map visuals to 2D mode. But since the 3D mode in max details otherwise is running fine there's no reason for the game (and even the whole...

Re: Complete System crash every 2-3 turns
So I updated all drivers including the latest ATI Catalyst and the game still keeps crashing regardless of the chosen scenario. Unfortunately it's unplayable in this state. Any help in sight? Reading the others posts it seems there are various configurations with this problem. New files are attached...

Re: Steam Update just became available!
Standalone update is also available. However it quits downloading with an error message each start regarding an ftp failure. It's not a firewall issue though because it keeps coming with deactivated firewall too.

Complete System crash every 2-3 turns
When I'm playing the game (version is 1-5-8) the complete system crashed every 2-3 turns. It's not possible to kill the task or do anything. The screen blanks and I can only do a hard reset of the system. System: Windows 7 (64bit) Core i3 8 GB RAM ATI Radeon 5750 The requested files (dxdiag, log, op...
