Very nice update. Have to try out those new armies and campaign rules. Louis XIV era seems to point to the Wars of the Spanish Succession as the theme for the next expansion.

Those armies do feel slippery and it is hard to force a battle. I understand that it helps to generate only interesting and balanced battles but maybe this slipperiness could be reduced by allowing defenders and attackers to push their luck and then giving outnumbered defenders some battle advantage...

Which campaign are people planning to try first? I'm torn between Gustavus Adolphus and Ottoman campaigns. Gustavus Adolphus due to his fame as a general and Ottomans due to their different playstyle (no pikes).

Stream looked good. Focus is certainly on battles as Surtur had to spend most of his time fighting them and could not show off the campaign :) Which is as it should be. Yearly six turn rhythm with winter quarters and tax revenues looked interesting. Not sure how long the full campaign would be. 10-2...

Hopefully the campaign system will not be too micro intensive and most of the focus will be on battles. Unlike Total War games where campaigns draaaaaaaaaaaaaag. And hopefully it will produce interesting battles.
