Re: ABOUT THE DICE ROLLS
The game does not cheat but clearly people dont understand probability so we have to do something about it. Why? Unless you're moving to a model with NO randomness, there will always be RNG and people mentioning how the RNG is "cheating". So what if they keep complaining because ANY rando...

Re: ABOUT THE DICE ROLLS
It wasn't enough the rolls had to be in the fire phase but I also saw them in the assault phase. Three times in a row I assaulted and three times in a row I got 1 and 2. That to me just ain't random. What's not right in Sing Sing is this idea that "I rolled low numbers three times in a row, th...

Re: ABOUT THE DICE ROLLS
What the heck is "anti-streak randomness" ? You mean if I happen to roll 6's three times in a row, the fourth will not be 6 and therefore if I needed a 6 to hit (and only a 6 will do), it's a guaranteed miss? In addition since I can only get 1-5, that means now I have a 20% chance of a 1 (...

Minor Bug in Order Chapter 4
The "escape zone" is drawn too small...or the map script is zoning off an area that's too big.
I'm credited with 3 units "in the zone", but none of them are on the hatched area.
Just a small glitch/bug I noticed.

Flying units need pass thru terrain and over friendlies
Flying units not ignoring terrain like trees and houses seems silly. A pegasus can't fly over trees or a house? Some units need to be actual fliers and be able to pass over any terrain tile that's actually passable at all. I can see them not just scaling a height of like 4 or terrain that is impassa...

Re: Suggestions for the Next Patch
Another one - BALANCE THE RANGED UNITS. Please - they are just OP, especially Longbows and Demon Archers (for different reasons) and pretty much invalidates melee, especially if there's any high ground. Of course, I've been saying this since Beta. I'm playing Order mission 3 with Ironfist here and m...

It should be labeled, imo.
Other meaningless locations have labels, important ones crucial to the flow of the mission should be labeled.

It said it was too big.zakblood_slith wrote:rar or zip and tech support has bigger allowance i think
I'll try rar later, but a 335K file being too big is just hard to deal with when dealing with a game save file.

Re: [Bug] Unit still alive after "dying"
Hello there! Thanks for reporting this issue. If you have the after-save, that'd still help a lot to debug the cause. So if you could upload the save, that'd be really helpful. Cheers, chris. (P.S. I'm one of the people who worked on Hell at Hunted Cow). I have it; however, the forum says the file ...

Trample and Hit-and-Run archers
I admit to hating lucky instant death things in games. That said, I think Trample is borderline ridiculous, especially getting to use it more than once in a unit's turn. I think it should have a penalty to hit and at the very least limit it to one use per unit's turn. This trample, kill, move, tramp...

[Bug?] "Stone Circle" in Behind the Walls
At around the 10th or so turn, one of my units talks about leading a unit to the Stone Circle (or something of that nature) to get reinforcements. Thing is, there's no place labeled on the map. I don't know if this is a bug or by intended design, but I think that location should be labeled on the ma...

[Bug] Unit still alive after "dying"
I had my Spearmen do their Lance attack. He hit twice, "killing" the demon squad in front of him and damange+knockback on the one behind. However, the squad the Lance attack "killed" is still on the map. At first I thought it was just a graphics glitch...until the "dead"...

Re: [Bug] Unit still alive after "dying"
try and save the game before it happens and afterwords etc and post in support Tech Support then will have an idea why it's happening, the more info you can give them, the quicker it will be fixed  zip up the saves for them, and also in your doc's folder in my documents folder in the hell dir...

Re: [Bug] Unit still alive after "dying"
Ugh - these zombies are more annoying because not only do they still get chances to kill my units, but now the game got stuck in a mini-loop when one zombie unit was routed and rallied like six times before the game finally moved on (and the unit is still broken even after succeeding on each Rally. ...

I see archers still have ESP
Blind Shot.jpg And to think this is the LOWER odds. I have a couple units of Longbows on this map (Behind the Walls) that have 96% (yes, 96%) chance to hit on a Blind Shot. Really? And, yes, this is on Normal. Blind Shot2.jpg I mean, it's probably that +5 high ground modifier...but at that point......

Re: Having damaged terrain give less cover
I figure it still gave some cover - definitely not the same as being just in a wide open field - but probably not as much as a sound structure. If someone is shooting at me in my house as a sound structure, I'm going to be better protected from fire than if I'm in a blown up/heavy damaged house with...

Having damaged terrain give less cover
Is it possible to have damaged terrain provide less cover? I figure it would need an entry in terrain.txt, however, what's the name of the damaged tiles, assuming the game even considers damaged buildings and such as "different terrain" (or if it's possible to have it do so)? Also, would s...

Re: Barbarossa Completed...my thoughts
The former is somewhat what war is about, if thing goes well it is nice but you should be prepare for things going awfull. May be the easy difficulty shouldn't be that the game is easier but that you get reinforcement if you lose key unit. This way veteran player will enjoy the game with the unit i...

Re: GetTerrainCoverValue function
I believe Hunt mode preserves the max effect of cover, assuming "Hunt" is what the player sees that represents "SneakMode" in the code. (I hope so because I don't think I've ever seen a "Sneak" command) Edit: I see what the code and the tooltip are doing. Code is showin...
