Is there a way to see a map of the entire world? I've hit everything and I just can't find a way...

Yes, there are air units available further down the tech tree. Only been that far once, and never produced one, so can't tell you the capabilities, though I suspect they would be fighter class. There is also a research option that allows you to drop troops behind enemy lines.

Just a few turns and it was easy to figure out how to move units. I've only spent an hour or so with the game so need to figure some things out.
