Does the AI "cheat" (on FM or any difficulty) in combat "random rolls"? Its too much of a coincidence that I am getting worse results than average and AI gets better results...

I'd say it is cheating if you play a game, and have to save/load because of a bad choice. I never do and my latest campaign went smooth untill east coast America. Here i lost 9 of my core forces.

Oh and i lost the map as well.
I did this only for East Coast because it is/was considered impossible ...

Cheating by reloading till a favorable result is achieved is quite possible and the cheat codes are also public here in the forum.

In a different thread I've already mentioned this, the moving through zones of control/moving in stages does not seem like a worthwhile trade off to me...against the AI I'd far rather have the extra combat power of course when I up the difficulty level or start ...

Its not impossible; I did it. But it takes a large amount of saving/loading (you need average results - bad luck in important fights makes it impossible)

I just did decisive East Coast on Field Marshal (Weather, Supply and FoW obviously on) and it literally took me days and a huge amount of saving/loading... is West Coast even harder? Everyone keeps talking about it.
