After completing the 1st Phillipine scenario with a victory as Japanese I get a Burma Invaded screen that I can't get rid of to go on to the next scenario. Is this a bug?

Hi During some sessions the game slows down to the point of being unplayable. Saving the game and reloading doesn't fix it. Sometimes you can play for a long time before it happens and sometimes it is quite soon after the start. I'm running an i7 with a decent Nvidia card and tons of memory so I sho...
