Re: multiplayer map Dunkirk and Battle of Britain v.1.6
recrimination like when people bully you when your Japanese tanks are in the way right? Ok I can change it, but somehow I have no energy right now.. Later ok? You play with McAuslin right? I made my Normandy map 2vs2 for him and his group. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1cxngdUcxMy_QpC89sXe6...

Re: multiplayer map Dunkirk and Battle of Britain v.1.6
Why do you guys always want 2vs2 though? Doesn't 1vs2 make more sense? I don't think Germany should be separated. It would just weaken coordination, and Germany needs to coordinate a lot to have the right balance in the airforce. Also not sure if France wouldn't be bored once Paris gets taken Just ...

Re: multiplayer map Dunkirk and Battle of Britain v.1.6
Not tried 1.6 yet so these points may no longer apply. As McAuslin mentions, the ability to mine the entire English coast seriously hampers any landing. The Royal Navy are too strong for any supported landing, certainly in the early stages. I have won twice with a parachute drop on Dunkirk, supporti...

It also seems like the airfield supply hexes are not correctly working? I captured them with the airborne troops, but then these run out of supply... I don't know how this is possible. Is there a difference between airforce and ground supply?

Re: Order of Battle - The Unit Navigator Tool
Hi, I'm not around these pages as much as I used to be, but I just wanted to say how useful this unit navigator tool was! @Mojko, what data did you use for the tool? Did you just take the units.csv from the game files? I'm going to ask our team whether there's anyway that we can rehost it. @Shards,...

I'm finding it pretty tough as the Japanese so its mirroring history. Perhaps we can have a game when I've finished the current one I'm playing Ok sure. What turn are you in now? And what's the problem? The Japs should be a bit stronger at the beginning Agreed the Japanese should be stronger. As pe...

Re: multiplayer map Dunkirk and Battle of Britain v.1.4
Have the Germans ever won this other than through a mass para drop? I'm struggling to see how the Germans can take Britain? Currently playing 1.2 but I don't think the 1.3 version helps the Germans much. Yes, a quick win on Paris or Dunkirk might do it but once you are trying to invade it's too hard...

Re: Multiplayer map 1vs1 - Guadalcanal and New Georgia v.4.1
v4.1 has a problem and does not show in the scenario list. I suspect the 3 files have issues as when I renamed the scenario name in the text it showed up.

Re: Erik's campaigns, mods and multiplayer scenarios
Norway latest version. Coastal guns cannot see adjacent ships, thus cannot target them. In first picture the lower coastal gun can only see the adjacent enemy ship above because my infantry were force to retreat so moved and thus spotted it. But the lower can cannot see anything else so only has the...

Re: multiplayer map Mediterranean and North Africa v.4.1
Not tried 4.1 yet but some thoughts. I seem to have lots of CP on both side (running parallel games) but little RP. Convoys for Allies might benefit from a shorter route, say Malta to whereever. Auto deploy cruiser escorts for the convoys too, non-core auxilary units but would allow players to build...

Naval does similar as it can optimise damage subject to the hex you move to.
It makes some sense fo reasons I struggle to articulate but it seems right.

Re: Erik's campaigns, mods and multiplayer scenarios
The transports/supply ships etc movement rates vs war ships is historically sound. The transports movement is equal to 12knots and destroyers are in the 30+ knots range. So the German player must strive to protect the transports using war ships, subs and air units. Rule Britannia, Britannia rules th...

Re: Erik's campaigns, mods and multiplayer scenarios
An oversight... :( I have added supply ships in the next version. Phew :) The other comment is that the RN seem to be on to the German transports really quick, particularly mid map. My guess it is because in the Mod naval unist have been altered to move further, but transports haven't, so the RN ca...

Re: finding other players
MULTIPLAYER SCENARIOS I enjoyed them a lot and also got some very skilled and trustfull friends ( Jan ) with whom I played unforgettable battles. Some players are talkative, some other never dare to spend a letter by chat (what a pity). Opponents basically play one turn per day...a few can dare eve...

MicroMod 5.2 Added a couple of Norwegian commanders. Link updated in first post. New scenario: 2v2 Weserubung 1940 1.0 The German air/land/sea-invasion of Norway. 2 German players, 1 Norwegian player and 1 British/French/Polish player. This is a large, very detailed scenario. I have created a few c...
