Hi all, now i 've found out the reason for the error.

You must install the windows media player! lol

So why this game does not work properly on my existing otherwise error free system is not finding out.

However, on the same hardware with a freshly installed Win7 64bit with sp1, chipset and graphics drivers, the game runs flawlessly.

the only logfile i can find is in path:

\Aggressors Ancient Rome\ProgrammData\Kubat Software\Aggressors Ancient Rome

but this file is empty.

I will try to reinstall the game in standard path and then testing

at startup it opens my steam account and goes to the game description in the library.

I then disabled the Internet, started the file as an admin and followed your instructions.

But i can't find the logfile.

Hello Pavel, I think I understood you.
The obvious problem is that the sound slider for the game does not exist in the Soundmixer.
I checked the links with the tips, but did not succeed.

And since this problem only occurs with 2 users, it is likely that the error lies with the user's system.

But ...

i was in game and then "alt + tab" to navigate to soundmixer.

the switch for aggressors - rome is missing.

In game the song is playing. (right upper corner) I can stop/ play the song but i don't hear anything.

i have checked the sound mixer, no problems.

I have uninstalled the amd driver und installed the last adrenalin driver vers. 18.8.2 without the sound driver. Windows will install the microsoft sound driver instead (from 2010), i 've disabled this.

ok, i can disable/ uninstall the amd sound. But normally i choose the option for standard sound device (in this game the realtek driver) and is function by all other applications. I will try it and report then.

Hi, i have pretty much updated everything:

Bios, Realtek sound, Intel chipset driver, Intel Me driver, Realtek lan driver.

disabled the Intel onboard graphics, usb hub, bluetooth, mouse wireless stick, G13 board

and using one monitor only

Result: NO SOUND ;)

thanks for your answer. yes ist is all on and the sounds is function outside the game.

i have installed the game, then start the game, no sound (must i research gaming sound?...lol) all others games work
