If you dont like the person you are playing with perhaps just join another game .. besides it very easy to not see the chat if you simply click the chat icon.

it maybe part of the issue ... but I copied renamed an existing mutiplayer scenario even changed the names inside the files to match the name of the scenario file the same as the it was on the copied file still did not show in the hot seat or the multiplayer list or ...

UN dead tank skins seem to be more of a bug than awesome not being able to move another vehicle to this hex and stop .. but able to drive through it..
Also not even being able to move a plane to this same hex because of said awesome dead skin...
