Well 6 hours into a game and I just discovered there's a tax slider... Has that really been a feature the entire time? Completely did not see it, only happened upon it by chance when I was looking to change some city production from the list view.

In France, south of the city hex Tours (25,30) there are two tiles (24,31)(25,31)that look like bridges but do not allow cross river movement.

I downloaded the audio drivers you recommended. That alone had no effect. However, after subbing in the mp3 audio folder the game now plays, with sound and no CTD.
