@Bond, delete the fall weiss folder, keep the fall weiss 1932-1939 folder. The original Fall Weiss folder won't ask for a saved army. Core import works if the same equipment file is used between the two campaigns.
About the repetition, i noted your concern

I finally got the copy game up and running. there's one last problem. I have downloaded the equipment file and put it into the game folder before extracting as recommended.
