As far as I can recall, almost none of heavy infantry units ever had siege value. Romans being the only exception.

Armenia is a very interesting faction to play. There are only a few nation people have to pay extra attention to region type malus and rivers, Armenia one of them. In order to fully use the strength of cataphracts, there shouldn't be any infantries mixed in the troops. For Armenians heavy infantries...

I do agree a lot with the vassal integration part. And it will help nation with fatal shortage of key military unit. Imaging someone playing late game as Carthaginian without access to heavy calveries or steppe nomads without heavy ships at all.

The problem is, Carthage's mercs don't have "besieger" perk, so big numbers of them can't help so much in frontal assult. So the best way to use, is to recruit them for taken certain strategic region or for defence in deserts and disband them at once (may some of 7 manpower eating warriors...
