In a recent PBEM mirror match i was getting few partisans in russia as the allies but seeing a lot more appear as the axis. apparently there is a random factor but no idea what it is.
BTW do tcpip games still lack partisans? If so it is a advantage to the axis.

Surely this is wrong, otherwise making advances in industrial output is penalised if you have less than 100% production wheras the germans start at 107% so their bonus is more than 13? British also had a large Fleet Air Arm, some of which operated from land too, plus coastal command- for game purposes its all considered part of their carrier power. I never see anyone building carriers, so they can't be that good. Your carriers are causing me a LOT of problems in our PBEM game ear...

I reckon it is the random number generator used to create convoys, any convoy below a certain size just does not appear so if you get unlucky you can miss several convoys. This can be a game killer for the russians and it is a pity that LUCK is playing such an important part in allied pp generation....

No need to get personal!! I have to agree with Yohan here. The long term viability of the game depends on adding some logic to events if players want to use it. Russian variable entry is irrelevant as I have yet to see Germany wait that long to open Barbarossa. USA variable entry is possibly neutral...
