Hello
I have an old Mikes Models mid imperial Roman / Palmyran army that needs expanding for FOG. What figures do you think would be compatible with small toy soldierish Mikes Models. The best I can see are Magister Militum which I think are old Chariot figures.

Mikes Models
I've got a small Mikes Models mid imperial Roman / Palmyran army. I need to augment it for FOG. If any one had some Old Mikes Models please contact me. However the real point of this post is what modern ranges are compatible with Mikes Models? For those to young to appreciate them the figures are sm...

Horse with trunk extension
I'm in Rajasthan at the mo and have just come back from Udaipur. Anyway they have a full size model of a famous Maharana's horse as it would appear in the 16 th century. The horse has a pretend elephant trunk attached to its head. The guide said the idea was to trick Moghul elephants into thinking i...

Two Dragons
Minifigs have started selling the old Two Dragons range but the online catalogue does not as yet include descriptions of all the figures (particularly Indians eg Mahrattas). Does any one have a copy of the old Two Dragons catalogue or know a link to it.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Second evade
Did we get this right? The rule order is to carry out all evade moves and then all charges. Enemy cav unit A evade from my unit X. They end up within the charge move of my light horse unit Y (which had charged enemy light horse unit B who evaded out of the way). Unit Y do not need to take a CMT as a...

Re: Imperial Austrian
Thanks for the reply. Was pluderhosen worn later than Italian Wars? Essex mikes models range sell Landschneckt with and without pluderhosen. I was thinking of mixing them for variety, would this be wrong?

Imperial Austrian
I'm thinking of building an Imperial Austrain army which I can morph for the whole 16th century ie Italian wars to 1590. I like the Mikes Models figures sold by Essex and just want to check a few things re historical compatability of different troops: 1. When did Landschnects stop wearing fancy clot...

If we assume that swordsmen includes skilled and mounted swordsmen then no swordsmen get a + against any other swordsmen (second line of melee POA). However skilled swordsmen get a + against any swordsmen except mounted swordsmen (first line of melee POA). So Skilled v ord swordsmen = + Skilled v mo...

Swordsmen POA against mounted
Played a game yesterday and noticed that swordsmen get a POA against mounted but skilled swordsmen don't. Seems odd that skilled swordsmen should be worse against mounted than 'ordinary' swordsmen. So I think I must have this wrong. If not what is the rationale?
