I have noticed an atry unit acting in a defensive mode even after being forced to retreat once already.
There should be a stronger penalty for arty units forced to retreat.
Such as being unable to fire for the rest of the turn.
Or losing half return fire value.

A couple things I note so far Desert areas are too featureless. There should be. 1. Sand (one point of movement) 2. Soft Sand (two or three points of movement) 3. Rough (2 points of movement) 4.
