I too need some tips on New Georgia. Seems as if the Japanese holding the western tip of the island are too strong and I cannot seem to break through their defense line.

I downloaded the release candidate and everything works fine now. It even allowed me to pick up the second to last scenario so I could finish the campaign. Didn't see any problems, sound issues, or any other bugs.

I get the same problem. While music now plays for me, I get a black screen, pixelated strategic map, and have to Alt-Ctrl-Del to back out of the program since the menu doesnt come up. Something strange is occurring with this rev.
