Stepping forward after enemy breaks

The question is if enemy breaks (due to loss of bases), and the remaining bases flee in the Joint Actions phase, will the friendly troops that follows up, step forward to contact fresh enemy? For example(Enemy El,hf) (friends Mf) (before the melee phase) [El][El] (2 inches) [hf][hf] [Mf][Mf][Mf] [Mf...

But what happens when the MF and LF are contacted at the same time, example if the contact is directly 90%, thus on the side edge. Thus both the MF and LF are contacted at the same time?

MF with LF turing 90deg

What will the formation look like if BG of 6xMF + 3xLF (Late Romans) turn 90deg? Example 1: MF.MF.MF MF.MF.MF LF. LF .LF My question is where will the LF end up after turning 90deg? Second question, what happens when that BG is charged in the flank? Who turns?, where does the LF end up? We had battl...

Move into combat not allowed

Hi A question on supporting movement. The scenario follows: 2 BG(of 4 bases) are fighting with a base offset: ....XX ....XX ..yy ..yy ........zz ........zz Thus BG, "X" and BG "y" are fighting with the maximum of 4 die per BG. No elements can be fed into battle, because all the b...

What about the battle between Philip II and Athens/Thebes (Battle of Chaeronea 338 BC) Where the one pike flank(right flank) was ordered to give ground, and thus making an opening for Alexanders companions to charge a flank. My suggestion: Add a possible complex movement for drilled troops (Ordered ...

Have Anybody had success with poor Mv (ex Indian bow). It seem like poor Mv/Hv will always lose. I tested poor pikes and what really nails them is the moral tests. The lists are full of poor Mv troops, does anyone use them?

Counting is not a bad idea, I made two mistakes which: 1) I made an exel DBM sheet, but while playing with the list did not extend the SUM() to include 2 Ps(S). When my opponent claimed I was using 406 points, I was flabbergasted, showed him my exel sheet and claimed "No way". I felt very ...

But Pk in 2 deep formation does not get ++, Spear will, but Pk 2deep get no + factor (maybe for armour),
thus the impact phase the Lh ++, with 2 die, and the Pk -- with 2 die
In the melee phase 2 die at -, for the Lh and 4 die for the Pk at + (only the armour)

Outflanking march question

Outflanking march question When a smaller flank march is driven of the rules states: (p145) -.... It arrives up to 12 MUs from its army's rear table edge -If not them self driven back, the enemy arrive ..., except that they too must arrive in the same 12 MUs of the side table edge. Does this mean th...
