Installed SoA, played the three simplest scenarios.

Lost first two, won the third.

Really cool game.

The check for updates is not available on my clean install. (FoG 1.1.2)

Received and installed game roughly two hours ago (25 Dec)

Purchased Storm of Arrows at same time, will not install without upgrade,

assuming it means the 1.4.
